Harrill Lamont "Lucky" Ruff departed this life on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

He was born on September 21, 1979 in Cleveland County, NC to Harrill and Andrea Poole Ruff.

"Lucky" was a friendly person who never met a stranger. His hobbies were playing chess, watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys play and hanging out with friends. He loved his kids and nephews dearly and was always there for them.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Mary Lena Poole; grandmother, Rebecca Surratt; grandfathers, Andrew Ross and Elester Sawyer and seven uncles.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Harrill and Andrea Ruff; four daughters, Akura Ruff, Adrianna Ruff, Anayah Ruff and Armani Ruff; five sons, Akeem Ruff, Dashon Falls, Adarius Ruff, Jamale Brooks and Zarionne Ruff; a sister, Andrea Renee Ruff-Parks (Travis); grandmother, Willie Mae Sawyer; two aunts, Rebecca Degree and Phyllis Ruff; one uncle, Ronald Strong (Sandra); his good friend, Edgar "E.W." Mauney and a host of great uncles and aunts, cousins and friends.

The funeral service for Mr. Ruff will be private. He can be viewed on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. Condolences can be expressed online at www.enloemortuary.com. Enloe Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
