Harry Richard "Dicky" Clay, 69, of 3741 Lavista Drive, passed away Monday September 21, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare System-Cleveland. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late James F. and Ruth Williamson Clay. He was a loving and devoted husband who loved NASCAR and playing golf. He retired after 30 plus years from Duke Energy.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Janice Taylor.

SURVIVED: he is survived by his beautiful wife of 32 years, Patsy Blanton Clay of the home; one sister Rachael Arndt of Shelby; four brothers, Mike Clay and wife Ingrid of New York, Ronald Clay of Polkville, Roger "Fatback" Clay and wife Anne of Georgia, and Larry Clay of Shelby; his sweet furbaby, Lil Lady; mother and father-in-law Bobby L. and Ruth Blanton, many nieces and nephews.
