Hattley Harold "Frosty" Bridges

Hattley Harold "Frosty" Bridges, 94 of 724 Polkville Road, Shelby passed
away Friday, May 12, 2017 at his residence.

Born August 16, 1922 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late William
Johnson Bridges and Martha Carpenter Bridges. He was owner and operator of
B & D Painting and was a member of Polkville United Methodist Church. Mr.
Bridges served in the US Army during WWII.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife,
Rachel Washburn Bridges; son, Buck Bridges and numerous brothers and
sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Jean Floyd Bridges; sons, Lee Ray
Greene and wife, Jada of Kings Mountain and Tommy Greene of Mooresboro; a
daughter, Jewel B. Dills of Shelby; numerous grandchildren and numeorus
great-grandchildren and caregiver, Sue Jenkins.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday at Polkville United Methodist
Church

A funeral service will be 4:00 PM, Monday at Polkville United Methodist
Church with Rev. Bill Lovelace and Dr. Bulo Price officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
