| Healthy Kids Day is April 16th |

On Saturday, April 16, 2011, the Dover Foundation YMCA invites kids and parents in to make a “play date” at the YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day™ and Asthma Expo. As the leading nonprofit for strengthening community, the Y holds Healthy Kids Day to bring families together to engage in fun, active play and learn healthier habits that help them grow and thrive. Activities are free and open to all.
At Healthy Kids Day and Asthma Expo, the nation’s largest health day for kids, families will enjoy games, arts and crafts, community agency information booths/vendors, family fitness and more. Also, the Cleveland County Asthma Coalition will be sharing information about asthma management and education. Buster Baxter from Arthur and Friends will be on hand to meet the kids and sign autographs. In addition, Safe Kids of Cleveland County will be promoting Sports Safety Week. There will also be free snacks and t-shirts (while supplies last). Healthy Kids Day and Asthma Expo takes place from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Dover Foundation YMCA.
