Helen "Louise" Jones, age 84, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the Fair Haven Home of Bostic.

Louise was born December 7, 1935 in Rutherford County to the late Robert Lee Davis and Daisy Etta Dixon Davis. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved gardening, canning and quilting. Louise was a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church. She will be missed by all those who knew her. She especially loved her "second family" (the staff and residents of Fair Haven) who compassionately cared for her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, William Zeno Jones and thirteen brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving son and his wife, Rickey and Tangie Jones of Ellenboro; three grandchildren, Ronnie Jones (Amy) of Concord, NC, Richie Jones (Amanda) of Ellenboro, Christy Powell (Matthew) of Forest City and six great-grandchildren, Tanner Huckabee, Laila Jones, Natalie Aiello, Bennett Aiello, Nora Powell and Evan Jones.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Liberty Baptist Church with Reverend Mack Tester and Reverend Owen Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
