Helen "Mackie" McSwain Lattimore, 100, of Lawndale, passed away Saturday,
December 8, 2018 at Shelby Manor in Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County on November 30, 1918, she the daughter of Eura
Carson McSwain and Virginia Candace Patterson McSwain. She was retired from
Dr. Richard Maybins Office as a registered nurse and was a member of New
Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James
Alvin Lattimore.

She is survived by two sons, James William Lattimore and wife Cherie of
Lawndale and Donald Kenneth Lattimore and wife Elizabeth of Salisbury; two
grandsons, Daniel Lattimore and wife Imari of Albemarle and Thomas Lattimore
and wife Nicola of Salisbury; three great grandchildren, Asher, Abigail and
Elena.

The family will receive friends on Thursday December 13, 2018 from 2:00PM
until 3:15 PM at New Bethel Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3:30PM at New Bethel Baptist
Church with Dr. Tracy Jessup and Dr. Tim Elmore officiating.

The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
