Helen Margie Connor,

Helen Margie Connor, 97, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

She is now happily with her Lord and Savior as well as precious family members that were waiting patiently for her. Margie as she was affectionally called by family and friends, was a native of Cleveland County and lived most of her life there. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Shelby. Margie was the ultimate Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and often joked that she never knew what to do without a diaper in her hand. Indeed, she faithfully raised four generations of children, without giving a second thought to herself, and always put others' needs above her own. She was a fiercely loyal wife to her husband, Charles, and for more than 50 years they shared a wonderful marriage. Often, she would sit in quiet devotion and admiration while he enthusiastically entertained anyone listening. She was considered a saint by her family for facing many difficult struggles with quiet dignity, and she will be missed and remembered always.

Margie joins in Heaven her husband, Charles; sons, Thomas Michael Wagner and Jerry Malone Wagner; daughter, Sherrie Faye Johnson; grandson, Michael Malone Wagner; great-granddaughter, Abigail Wagner; five sisters; one brother.

Family left to cherish her memory are sons, William (Billy Sr.) Wagner and wife, Susie and Charlie Connor; daughters, Shellie, Candie, and Casie Connor; grandsons, William (Billy Jr.) Wagner and wife, Latanya, Charles Malone Wagner, Christopher Bivens and Cameron Johnson; granddaughter Kelly Wagner Beebe and husband Jim; daughter-in-law, Judy Wagner. She leaves behind cherished great-grandchildren and beloved nieces and nephews as well.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Cleveland County for their commitment and for their excellent care of Margie and Eastside Baptist Church Pastor Dale Byrd and the wonderful, caring members who faithfully visited.

The family will have a Private Celebration of Life in the coming days at Cleveland Memorial Park.

Arrangements entrusted to Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service of Boiling Springs, NC. Memorial tributes may be made at http://www.rsmorganfsl.com.
