Helen Quinn Beam

Cherryville - Mrs. Helen Quinn Beam, 88, of 452 Roy Eaker Road, passed away
on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

Mrs. Beam was born on April 17, 1930 in Gaston County, NC a daughter of the
late Clarence Efird Quinn, Sr. and Hattie Ramsey Quinn. She was a 1949
graduate of Cherryville High School. Mrs. Beam was a homemaker and member
of First Baptist Church in Cherryville. She served her church in many
capacities over the years and was a member of the Truth Seekers Sunday
School Class, the Isobel Pfeifer Circle and the Senior Adults.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William
B. "Dub" Beam and nine siblings.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Janet Durn and husband
Randy of Indian Land, SC; Renee Burgess and husband Mike and Cynthia Cash
and husband Jeff all of Cherryville; three grandchildren, Chad Cash and wife
Heidi of Cherryville; Quentin Cash and wife Erin of Gastonia and Brian Durn
and wife Leanna of Leland.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at First
Baptist Church in Cherryville and at other times the family will be at the
home.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at
First Baptist Church with Dr. Vince Hefner and Rev. Perry Holleman
officiating.

Burial will be in City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, General Fund or William B.
Beam Scholarship Fund, 301 E. First Street, Cherryville, NC 28021 or to
Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150.
