Henry Jace Lee Atkins, infant son of Kierston Atkins of Mooresboro went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 23, 2018.
He was born June 21, 2018 and even though his life on earth was brief, he touched the hearts of many people. He was one of God's precious children and is now one of His little angels. Henry will be forever loved by his mother and family members.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a half-brother, Kaidyn Gregory; grandmother, Misty Ensley of Rutherfordton; great-grandparents, Arlen Atkins of Henrietta and Wayne Johnson also of Henrietta; aunt, Makaliah Atkins of Henrietta; uncle, Dameion Atkins of Forest City; Nana, Bobbie Ross of Mooresboro; two great uncles, Jason Johnson of Henrietta and Chris Johnson of Virginia; two great aunts, Melanie Johnson of Henrietta and Ellen Smith of Forest City. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Carolyn Johnson.
A service of remembrance will be conducted at 3:00 Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Henrietta with Reverend David Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is providing services for the family.
