| Hilary Berry Receives Scholarship |

Each year the Cleveland County Chapter of North Carolina Retired School Personnel presents a $500 scholarship to a Cleveland County Senior who desires to become a teacher. This year’s award was presented to Hilary Lauren Berry during the May meeting of CCRSP at the Cleveland Country Club.
Hilary’s enthusiasm, high academic record, community involvement and deep conviction that she can reach the minds of young people made her the Scholarship Committee’s choice. Miss Berry plans to attend Appalachian State University in the Fall with the goal to become a second grade teacher. - Photo furnished
