Skip Warrick prepares ribs at this year’s Home Builders Association of Cleveland County Hog Happnin’, and racks of delectable boston butts were almost ready to be served in the hall. This year’s Hog Happnin’ had 83 teams competing, one as far away as Massachusetts and two teams from Kansas. The winning team was BS Pitmeisters, Charles Fretwell of Boiling Springs, S.C. A first at this year’s event was the Pig Pullin’ 300 Truck & Tractor Pull. It also featured a great car show, music and crafts. Proceeds from the Hog Happnin’ go to Children’s Homes of Cleveland County.
