Hoi Thi Nguyen Falor, 90, of Shelby passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Navion of Shelby.

She was born on March 25, 1935 in Vietnam, she was the daughter of the late Tang Luu Nguyen and Thoun Thi Nguyen. She was retired Army and Airforce and was of the Catholic Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers both named Cuu L. Nguyen.

Hoi is survived by loving husband of 50 plus years, Emerson Douglas Falor; son, Hai Falor and wife, Melissa of Winston Salem; daughter, Suzanne Goforth and husband, Kelly of Fallston; niece, Kim Webb and husband, Jeff; nephew, Van Nguyen and wife, Laura; niece, Jade Chasteen and husband, Matt; nine grandchildren, Colton Falor, Haiden Falor, Christian Nguyen, Linh Nguyen, Bella Webb, Logan Goforth, Lacie Goforth, Thomas Chasteen and Madden Nguyen and a sister, Hoan Nguyen of Shelby.

A graveside service will be held 2:00pm on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Rose Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Devine officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
