Mr. Horace Lee Wright passed away on January 24, 2019.
He is survived by a son, Douglas Wright (Ann) of Shelby, NC, two daughters, Pamela Howell (Ernie ) of Fallston, NC, and Michelle Whaley (DJ) of Fallston, NC, a granddaughter, Jamie Perry of Fallston, NC, 3 grandsons, Joseph Whaley, Noah Howell, Cole Whaley, and 2 great grandchildren, Caiden and Hunter.
Mr. Wright was born on October 2, 1942 in Cleveland County to the late Lem Wright and Essie Mae Hudson. Horace was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia Elaine Wright, eight brothers, and two sisters.
Mr. Wright was a long term member at Wallace Grove Baptist Church. Horace enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting. He liked spending time with his family and loved them dearly.
Funeral services will be held at Wallace Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00pm with a visitation held prior to the service starting at 12:30pm. A burial will follow the service.
