Mr. Howard Lee Sisk, age 71 of Shelby, NC, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Lafayette Street United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Arthur Holland. A visitation will be held from 12:30 - 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sheila Vaye (Parker) Sisk of the home, a daughter, Wendeline Lemons and husband Vance of Shelby, NC, a granddaughter, Peyton Vaye Lemons, three sisters, Sherry Rhodes, Trudy Kirby, and Amanda Sisk, and a nephew, Tommy Sisk and wife Sherry of Connecticut.
Born December 26, 1943 in Cleveland County, Mr. Sisk was the son of the late Howard Willis and Ruth (Ward) Sisk and was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Sisk, and two sisters, Betty and Christine Sisk. Howard was a member of Lafayette Street United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing, wood finishing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
