| Hunter Leroy “Coot” Taylor, 67, passed away on September 6, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hunter William and Dora Hudson Taylor of Clover, SC; three brothers, Bobby Taylor who passed away at birth, Doyet Taylor of Vale, NC, Charlie Taylor of Kings Mountain; five sisters, Haddie Taylor Mullinax of Fort Mill, SC, Veree Taylor of Gastonia, NC, Margaret Taylor of Gastonia, Aileen Taylor McBride of Winston Salem, NC, Susan Taylor Barber of Kings Mountain; his wife, Thelma Sprouse “Happy” Taylor of Kings Mountain.
Mr. Taylor is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family at the home of his niece Rachel Ogle, 111 Beach Lane, Kings Mountain, NC on September 13, 2012 from 7:00 – 9:00pm. A memorial service will be held at Harvest Times Assembly on Second Street in Kings Mountain on September 14, 2012 at 7:00pm.
