This hand assembled 2012 COPO Chevrolet Camaro was just one of 69 built and is owned by Daren Poole-Adams of Lattimore. COPO (Central Office Production Order) Camaros have no vin number, are not street legal and are intended for drag racing. Daren has been drag racing since he was 18 years old and recently reached 144 mph in 9.47 seconds in a quarter mile in his COPO. The powerful 427 cubic inch 8 cylinder has a 425 horsepower rating, but produces more than 600 hp. For auto enthusiasts, this is a golden opportunity to see a rare factory built NHRA race car. The car will be featured at Carter Chevrolet’s “Halloween Camaro Cruise-In” that will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27th from 9am til 2pm. The dealership is located at 200 W. Dixon Blvd., Shelby.
