 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Bratton and one son, Jerry Bratton. She is survived by her sons, Robbie and Rita Bratton of Rutherfordton and Terry Bratton and fiancé Suzanne Royster of Lattimore; one daughter, Nancy Flowers and husband Charles of Hickory; two brothers, Bobo and wife Jennie Scruggs of Mooresboro and Earl and Bobbi Scruggs; her grandchildren, Heather Bratton, David and Andrea Flowers, Carla Flowers, and Katie DeBenedetto and husband Josh; one great granddaughter, Lisabella Hoffman and one future great grandson who will arrive in April.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, March 01, 2013 at State Line Baptist Church with the Rev. Kris Showen, Rev. Darrell Revels, and Rev. Ray Heffner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held immediately following the service in the sanctuary.
