Ina McDowell Harrington, age 72, of Shelby, NC, formerly of Forest City, NC and Youngstown, OH, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on July 23, 2025, in Shelby, NC.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Harrington, of Boiling Springs, NC (formerly Concord, NC), daughter, Tori Beth Crenshaw (Colton) of Lancaster, SC, sister Carol Sowder (Mike) of Floyd, VA, nephews Cullen Sowder and Marcus Sowder (Valerie), great-niece Chloe Sowder, and great-nephew Leaf Sowder. Visitation will be held at Cecil Burton Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 6:00-7:30 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Shelby Presbyterian Church with interment to follow at Cleveland Memorial Park, Shelby, NC.
