Vale - Mrs. Inez Marie Willis, 91, of Ed Willis Road, passed away on Sunday,
March 3, 2019 at Atrium Health Northeast in Concord.

Mrs. Willis was born in Cleveland County, NC on July 24, 1927 a daughter of
the late Burgin Willis and Bertha Cooke Willis. She was a homemaker and a
member of Hull's Grove Baptist Church in Vale.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leroy
Willis; a daughter, Peggy Petrea; a brother J.C. Willis; three sisters,
Velma Hartsoe, Kay Taylor, Ruth Ledbetter.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie Lee Willis and wife Brenda of Cherryville;
Larry Willis and wife Debbie of Vale; three daughters, Carolyn Turner and
husband Ralph; Katherine Burton and husband Ronnie; Linda May and husband
George all of Vale; four sisters, Hazel Hartsoe of Lincolnton; Judy Gales of
Lincolnton; Brenda Willis of Lincolnton; and Vergie Heavner of Cherryville;
14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and three great-great
grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12:45 to 1:45PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at
Hull's Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at
Hull's Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Travis Elmore and Bobby Farmer
officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
