Irene G. Clark, 88, passed away January 23, 2022 at White Oak Manor in Shelby.

A native of Cleveland Co., she was born to the late Ben and Estelle Glenn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years Loyd Clark. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and the owner of Clark's Florist for over 35 years. She and Loyd loved camping in Chimney Rock and adored their dogs.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday January 26 at 12:00 in The Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory. Rev. Allen Davis, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
