Irene Jeanette Long Springer, age 85, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Hospice Wendover. Born in Ruskin, FL on January 6, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Aaron Richard Long and Anastasia Sweeney Long.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Arthur Springer and her son Richard Springer as well as her brother Aaron Long Jr.

Irene is survived by three children; one son Charles Anthony Springer of Lawndale and two daughters, Carmen Weathers and husband Ray of Jacksonville, NC and Sherry Heaver and husband Ricky of Shelby as well as one sister Joyce, nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held in Wimauma, Florida at a later date.
