Isaac Walker

SHELBY - Isaac Walker, Jr., 73, born May 8, 1945 has passed away at his home Sunday, April 21, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. He was a truck driver for over 40 years with numerous driving awards and honors and loved the work he done. Among many things he loved, he was "The Best" Santa anyone has ever known because he love to see children happy, he even made a career of it and has raised more than his share, although, they weren't his blood. Mom and Dads home was always open for any child that needed love.

Isaac is predeceased by his parents, Isaac and Pauline Hull Walker; beloved wife, Judy Allison Walker; "best friend", grandson, Isaac Paul Gibbons; brother, Buddie R. Walker; sister, Frances, W. Luco, Sister-in law Ethel Beaty.

Per request from Isaac, he wanted all of his family listed, some have passed on and others left to honor them. If we left anyone out please forgive us.

Isaac leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Angela Walker and significant other, David Bridges; Racing Buddy, grandson, Jacob Dylan Gibbons; brothers, Buddie R. Walker, Thomas Walker and wife, Jo and Bill Allison; sisters, Frances W. Luco, Hazel Lovelace and husband, Ed, Delores Owens and husband, Dennis, Betty Jean Hudson and husband, J.L., Gail Walker and husband, Terry, and Ann Lovelace and husband, Mike; nieces and nephews, Roger, Daniel, David, Mark, Ritchie, Jenny, Scott and Brandi Walker, Gene, Robert, Chris, Scott, Connie, Barry and Becky Luco, Pamela and Jimmy Lovelace, Keith, Lorie and Michael Owens, Debbie, Donna, Randy, Jonathan Hudson, Jeff Walker, Stephanie Walker, Don, Cara and Abby Beatty, Justin, Kim and Josh Allison, Brother-in-law Ray Allison, Nicole Allison, Travis and Brandon Lovelace.

In addition to family, Isaac wanted to acknowledge some very special friends, Lisa Lucas, Tim Brayton, Craig and Annette Lindsey, Megan, Alan and Russell Barnes. A special Thanks to Cara Melia, Amber, Stephanie, Jeff and Porky.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 5:00 PM on Shoal Creek Church Road, Shelby, NC.
