Isaiah Johnson,

Isaiah Johnson, 21, of 806 E Graham Street, Shelby, NC passed away on January 17, 2024, in Catawba County.

He was born in Catawba County to Annika Nichole Johnson and Brad Letterman. His legal guardian is Teresa and the late William (Bill) Lackey.

Isaiah was a 2020 graduate of Shelby High School. He was a spiritual young man with a calm mind. His many attributes include being fun loving, loving of his fellow family and friends. He never met a stranger and was the life of the party. He had an infectious laugh, so there was never a dull moment hanging out with him. Isaiah was known to be a very good, pleasant, and respectful young man, showing his loving side to all.

He was an avid skateboarder and loved Marvel characters, especially Spiderman and Anima. Isaiah was a Dallas Cowboys football fan and a Duke Blue Devils basketball fan. He loved to eat crab legs at Juicy Crab with his family. Isaiah often watched and created Tik-Tok videos with his brothers and friends. He was not selfish, yet showed his good heart to everyone, including to his co-workers at Wal-Mart Distribution and Applebee's.

Isaiah is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Willis Lee Letterman.

Isaiah's survivors include his birth parents and legal guardian; brothers, Connor Letterman, Malachi Johnson, Bryson Letterman, and Reginald Wells; sisters, Alivia Johnson, Charisma Letterman, and Tamika Wells; grandmothers, Dorothy Johnson and Karen Letterman. His like brothers and sisters include Logan Collins, Brittan Jefferson, Renee Glenn, Demitra Glenn, Reginald Wells, Jr., and Kenyottia Byrd. Special friends were Macy Dawn, Shaye Walton, Belen Curiel, and Jamari Ellis. He is also survived by many other friends and family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Palmer Grove Baptist Church with visitation from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
