It Was All Pink At The Shelby Post Office
On Friday, October 21st, employees at the Shelby Post Office created a “BEWARE” awareness atmosphere as they dyed their hair pink, wore pink shirts and bow ties, plus anything and everything they could add that was pink. For them it was “Pink Friday” and they were dedicated to making everyone entering the post office that October is breast cancer awareness month. The idea was to have everyone using the post office on Friday to become involved, by having exams, as well as donating money and time to fight the dreaded disease. Pictured (l to r) are three postal employees who are committed to the cause,  Annette Crouse, Catherine Schmidt and Natasha Hull. The message of the day and month was to get involved, be aware and help fight the disease of cancer!
