Itala, a new business, is located at 155 West Dixon Blvd. in Shelby, beside the Pancake House. Itala has a large collection of original art by co-owner Louis De Dios and the store is named after his wife Itala. In addition to the original paintings, they feature Drypott, a ceramic invention of the owners. The unique business seems to have a little of everything, including handmade jewelry, soaps, clothing, shoes, ties, purses, belts and other custom gifts. Pictured is Louis holding one of his original paintings and Itala with one of their many Drypott creations. This store is definitely one of a kind and one to explore.
