Iva Beacham Scarborough, 86, of 147 Heartwood Lane, Spindale, passed away
Monday, September 21, 2015 at Carolinas HealthCare System - Cleveland in
Shelby.

She was born in Dare County, NC, on November 18, 1928 to the late Clyde
Alvis Beacham and Nellie Rogers Beacham. Iva was a homemaker and member of
Duck United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband
Cleveland Donovan Scarborough and brother, Garland Beacham.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Lewis Scarborough of Missouri; daughter
Lillie Scarborough Hussey and husband Ronald Lackey of Rutherfordton;
brother Dallas Ray Beacham and wife Charlene of Alabama; five grandchildren,
Donovan (Buddy) Ruth and wife Jenny, Colinda Renee Hodges and husband J.W.,
Michelle McArthur and husband Patrick, Jaime Ford and Stephen Scarborough,
Jr.; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will have a graveside service on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at
11:00 AM at Austin Cemetery, Kitty Hawk, NC.

Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or to Cyctistic Fibrosis
Foundation.
