Jack Eugene Borders

Mr. Jack Eugene Borders went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 19, 2018.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Hilda Borders, his two daughters Kay Frady and husband Melvin of Earl, Sherry Johnson and husband Rodger of Shelby, NC, four grandchildren Dereck Walker, Patrick Walker, Douglas Davis, and Amanda Norman and husband Justin, five great grandchildren, Isabella Walker, Garrett Walker, Easton Walker, Jackston Norman, and Brayden Ort, two sisters, Linda Warren and Nancy Beaver and husband Jerry, a brother Ricky Borders and wife Lisa, two sisters-in-law, Linda and Teresa Borders.
Jack was born on November 30, 1939 in Cleveland County, NC to the late George Dixon Borders and Ruth Arrowood Borders. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Kenneth and Doyle Borders.
Mr. Borders was an active member at New Buffalo Baptist Church in Grover. Jack preferred the old fashioned Gospel hymns. Jack enjoyed car and horse auctions, fishing, hunting, his horses, the beach, and spending time with his family. He was a former driver of Bost Bakery and was the owner of Borders Mobile Home Movers, as well as Jack Borders Auto Sales, and J & D Automotive. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Jack was a beloved Husband, Father, and Paw paw.
Funeral services will be held at New Buffalo Baptist Church, 1010 Lavender Road, Grover, NC on Saturday, 3:00pm. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. A burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
