Jack N. Rich, age 76, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Testa Hospice House in Kings Mountain. Born in Monroe County, Kentucky on September 4, 1940, he was the son of the late Bertha Stephens Rich and guardian Ottie J. and Flora Rich Bray. He loved the outdoors and owned and operated J N Rich Camping Outfitters.

Jack is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Cline Rich; two daughters, Jackie Blanton and husband Rusty of Shelby and Sharon Thrift and husband Todd of Boiling Springs; a grandson, Colin Blanton; three granddaughters, Erica Blanton and husband Travis, Kristin Snellings and husband Andy, and Kendall Thrift; three great grandchildren, Teagan Blanton, Cason Snellings, and Brayton Snellings; two sisters, Glaydell Hammer of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, and Virginia Holland and husband James of Lafayette, Tennessee; two brothers, Randall Baskett and wife Shirley of Gamaliel, Kentucky, and Bill Waldrip and wife Judy of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and Special friends, William and Kitty Carder of Gamaliel, Kentucky, and Doug and Rebecca Carroll of Shelby.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Bryan Glisson and Rev. Gary Marburger officiating. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park with Full Military Honors. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
