Cherryville - Mrs. Jacqueline Sides "Jackie" Davis, 91, of 408 Myra Lane
passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare Systems -
Lincoln.

Mrs. Davis was born on June 9, 1927 in Cleveland County, NC a daughter of
the late Greenland Ford Sides, Sr. and Lillie Lindsay Sides. She retired
from the textile industry. Mrs. Davis was a longtime member of Shady Grove
Baptist Church where she was a member of the Peace Keepers Sunday School
Class and the WMU. She loved going on trips to the beach and the mountains
and was devoted to her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 65
years, Hazel Lee Davis, six sisters and one brother.

Survivors include two sons, Michael L. Davis, Sr. and wife Louise; Ronald D.
Davis and wife Judy all of Cherryville; four grandchildren, Lee Davis
(Nicky); Matt Davis (Susan); Stacie Sherron (Travis) and Jason Davis; a
sister, Pansy Sellers of Kings Mountain and a brother Harold "Buddy" Sides
of Bixby, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 9:45 to 10:45 AM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service and at other times the
family will be at the home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel with Pastor Dale
Hendricks officiating.

Burial will be at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby.
