Jacqueline Sue Ledford Towery, 70, of Lawndale, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021.
Born in Cleveland County, NC on September 25, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Guy Ledford and Pauline Ledford. She was retired from Drexel Furniture and was a member of Mull's Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carroll Ledford and Harold Ledford and a sister, Deannie Mull.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Samuel Keith Towery; two sons, Brian Towery and wife, Kimberly and Patrick Towery and wife, Pamela both of Lawndale; three sisters, Joann Sharpe of Virginia, Patsy Denton of Connelly Springs and Janet Cooke of Vale; four grandchildren, Christopher Towery and fiancee, Miranda Garrison, Karen Davis and husband, Nathen, Alex Towery and wife, Summer and Marissa Towery and two great-grandchildren, Aubree Davis and Caroline Davis.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Mull's Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Shane Ramsey officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the Mull's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
