Jacqulene Crawley Price, age 85, of Kelly Road, Forest City, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Oak Grove Nursing and Rehab Center.
Jacqulene was born March 31, 1933 in Rutherford County to the late Grady Sylvester Crawley and Celia Ledbetter Crawley. She worked for Burlington Industries for several years and as a sales clerk for Graham Cash Clothing Store. She enjoyed gardening and times with family. Jacqulene was a member of Providence United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Jimmie Eual Price; an infant daughter and a second daughter, Julia Diane Beheler; one brother, Max Crawley and two sisters, Joyce Crawley Harrill and Elizabeth Crawley Tate.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Jimmie Dennis Price of Forest City; daughter, Janice Price Hodge and husband, retired Army Sgt. First Class Claude Darryl Hodge; two sisters, Lillian Crawley Silvers of Gaffney and Carol Crawley Moser of Jeffersonville, Indiana. She is also survived by three grandsons, Dr. Nick Buchanan (Grace), Kyle Buchanan (Makenzie) and Jared Beheler.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend David Bradley and Reverend Lanny J. Funchess officiating. Interment will follow in Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
