SHELBY-James Alfred Jamison Sr., 74, passed away Sat., Nov. 12, 2016, at Carolinas Healthcare System- Shelby. A native of Cleveland Co, he was the son of the late JA and Lillian Philbeck Jamison. He was retired from PPG and Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Donald Jamison; and grandson, Christopher Moore.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Dianne Jamison; sons, Jamie Jamison and wife Denise of Boiling Springs, Tim Jamison and wife Yolanda of Maiden; daughter, Donna Moore and husband Michael of Boiling Springs; brother, Johnny Jamison and wife June of Shelby; grandchildren, Chad Moore, Jennifer and Alan Linsey, Phillip and Alex Jamison, Savannah Yount, Bradley Jamison, Jarrett Isaac and Colton Jamison; and great- grandchildren Payton and Kaylie Moore.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home, and other times at the home of his daughter, Donna, 120 Chase Drive, Mooresboro.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby

BURIAL: will be held 12 PM, Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Lincolnton.
