James Clifford Willis, 77 of 124 Lanark Drive, Casar passed away, Friday,
February 10, 2017 at Catawba Regional Hospice.

Born December 3, 1939 in Catawba County, Mr. Willis was a son of the late
J.C. Willis and Vergie Lee Wright Willis. He was a member of Olive Grove
Baptist Church and retired from Hickory Leather.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary
"Pete" Willis and Wayne Willis and three sisters, Kay Willis, Diane Willis
and Linda Moses.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Dorothy Walker Willis; son,
Kenny Willis and wife Nita of Casar; daughter, Wanda Spurling and husband,
Darrell of Lawndale; brother, Randy Willis and wife Taffey of Vale; three
sisters, Sharon Hicks, Joy Walker and husband Bobby and Robin Bumgarner and
husband Ronnie all of Vale; and four grandchildren, Tyler Spurling, Makayela
Spurling, Hannah Spurling, and Jordan Willis.

Visitation will be form 1:30 to 3:00 on Sunday at Olive Grove Baptist
Church.

A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday at Olive Grove Baptist Church
with Rev. Terrill Crump officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
