James Dorian White
James Dorian White, 44, of 140 Ball Park Road, Lawndale, NC went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Caramont Health in Gastonia, NC.
He is survived by his parents, Larry White of Polkville, NC and Kathy Ledford White of Shelby, NC, a brother, Chris White of Salisbury, NC, a niece, Alison White of Vale, NC and great-aunt and uncle, Linda and Gary Putnam of Lawndale, NC.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Geneva White of Six Points, NC and Ray and Mary Ledford of Lawndale, NC.
He accepted Jesus and was saved in late 2011 and was baptized at Peach Street Baptist Church in Shelby by Rev Jim Bracket on January 1, 2012.
Dorian loved the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 29 at 2 pm in Lawndale in the woods owned by his family, where he loved to camp and hunt, with Rev Jim Brackett officiating. As he requested, his ashes will be scattered over the grave of his beloved dog, Frisky at the site.
Entrance to the site is the orange gate just past 2705 Ball Park Road in Lawndale. The service is open to anyone who wants to celebrate Dorian's life. The service will be simple and informal. Anyone who has anything in camo print is asked to wear it as a tribute to Dorian. Otherwise, casual, comfortable clothing will be fine.
