James Howard Pruitt, 81, of Pruitt Drive, Fallston passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his residence.
Born June 1, 1939, he was the son of the late Amos Pruitt and Ellen Denton Pruitt. He was retired from Boggs Hammermill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Wright and a son, David Truett.
Survivors include his life long love, Norma Hamrick; son, Christopher Truett of Shelby; granddaughter, Danielle Piercy; two brothers, Fred Pruitt and wife, Sabrina of Denton and Forrest Pruitt and wife, Darlene of Havelock; six nephews; one niece; several great-nieces and nephew and special friend, David Clay of Fallston.
Services will be held at a later date.
