Mr. James Keith McKissick, Sr. , 64 of 114-9 Goddard Road Waco, NC passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

He was born on July 7, 1955 in Cleveland County, NC to the late George and Hester Ann Graham McKissick.

"Keith" was a retired employee of Spectrum Dyed Yarn, where he worked for over 24 years. Keith was a member of A Glimpse of the Kingdom Church under the leadership of Rev. Claude London.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia McKissick; five daughters, Nikeesha Thompson (Timothy), Tanya Griffin (Travis), Tanya Johnson and Kristen Huskey all of Shelby, NC and Thina Huskey of Tampa, FL; one son, James Keith McKissick, Jr. of Wilmington, NC; four sisters, Brenda Hopper (Andrew), Norma Gail Mack and Doris McKissick all of Shelby and Georgette Mays (Ricky) of Cramerton, NC; one brother, Dennis McKissick (Ann) of Shelby; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one aunt, Alma Brown;his father and mother-in-law, S.S. and Vernice Howell of Waco, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Roberts Tabernacle C.M.E. Church in Shelby, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM until 3:00 PM on Wednesday and other times at the home of Jamane and Latonia Hopper, 400 Borders Road Shelby, NC.
