James Lester Price, age 74, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare Cleveland. Born in Gaston County on May 6, 1944 he was the son of the late George Junior and Mary Estelle Peeler Price. James was member of the American Bar Association and American Board of Trial Advocates. He earned his Law Degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1978 and worked for several law firms in California. James had a love for family and friends and especially the town of Cliffside. James enjoyed playing golf and eating German food. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his stepmother, Betty Price.

James is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rosa Castellano Price; a daughter, Lezette T. Markham and husband Bryan of Charlotte; two sons, Raymond George Price of Brookfield, WI, and Christopher R. Castellano of Warner, SD; two brothers, Bobby Haynes Price and wife Della of Shelby, and Dean Price and wife Susan of Las Vegas, NV; and three grandchildren, Chris, Dean and Kai.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Allen Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm an hour before the service.
