James William Davidson, age 65, of Forest City, died Friday, November 27, 2015 at his residence.
Born June 3, 1950 in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late James Henry Davidson and Mary Campbell Davidson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Davidson and two sisters, Dorothy Seay and Hazel Davidson.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Davidson Norton and husband Stacy of Forest City; son, James Robert Davidson Sr. of Forest City; grandchildren, Amanda Johnston, Christopher Norton, Preston Norton, Kristen Davidson, James Robert Davidson, Logan Davidson, Abigail Davidson, Maggie Davidson; great-grandchildren, Amyah Murray and Gabrihana Brooks. He is also survived by a special friend, Sherry Davidson.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Smith Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Terry White officiating. Inurnment will be private at a later date.
