Jamie Michelle Pruitt, 42, native of Rutherford County, passed away on Sunday, August 01, 2021 at Atrium Healthcare Charlotte surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

She is predeceased by her son Austin Reid Sexton; grandfather, Elford Pruitt; maternal grandfather, Nelson Proctor; paternal step-grandfather, Samuel Moore.

Jamie leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Zachary Ray Sexton and Patrick William Sexton both of the home; fiance', Will Hedrick; mother, Cheryl Weeks; father and step-mother, Rick Pruitt and wife Karen; sisters, Pamela Rhom and husband Rick and Mindy Walker; paternal grandmother, Shirley Moore; maternal grandmother and maternal step-father, Merita Bodenheimer and husband Garnold; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; dogs, "Bella" and "Chloe"; cat, "Fat-Fat".

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 07, 2021 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Jeremiah Parker officiating at Robert Morgan - Rutherford Chapel, 124 Fair Hope Street, Forest City, NC 28043.

She was a homemaker that loved her family dearly. She will always live in our hearts.
