Jane Harris Campfield, age 72, of Tanners Grove Road, Forest City, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Holly Springs Rest Home.
Born September 11, 1944 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Ralph Harris and Annie Lee Crotts Harris Callahan. She was a graduate of Easton High School in Maryland and worked in textiles most of her life before retirement. Jane was a member of the Harris First Baptist Church and loved going shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Don Harris, Dan Harris, Joe Callahan, Rupert Callahan and sister, Margaret Morrison.
Survivors include her loving husband of forty-nine years, Jerry Campfield; son, Jerry Brannon Campfield of Rutherfordton; step-son, Barry Alvin Campfield and wife, Emily of Forest City and six grandchildren, Shelby Campfield, Tiffany Campfield, Gage Campfield, Brannon Campfield, Dylan Campfield and Paige Campfield.
At the request of Jane, there will be no formal services conducted.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
