Janet Sisk Clontz, age 77 of Shelby, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 12, 2023.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Jerry Kenneth Clontz of the home, her children, Kenny Clontz (LaQuila) of Gastonia, NC, and Lisa Cable (Chad) of Indian Trial, NC, two grandchildren, Landon Cable and Wesley Clontz, two sisters, Carolyn Morrow (Archie) of Shelby, NC, and Vickie Morrison (Steve) of Cedar Point, NC, a brother, Danny Sisk (Sharon) of Leland, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born October 10, 1945, in Cleveland County, NC, Janet was the daughter of the late William D. Sisk and Maude Drewery Sisk and was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Lemons and Sarah Elam, and two brothers, Jimmy Sisk and Ronnie Sisk.

Janet enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially hanging out with her grandsons, Landon and Wesley.

The family would like to express sincere thanks to the following caregivers at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain; Sharon, Kayla, and Charlotte for the loving care they gave Janet during her stay. The family would like to express their appreciation to Pat Bowen, her special "hairgiver".

A funeral will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Shelby Free Will Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mike Carper. A visitation will be held from 12:00pm - 1:00pm prior to the service at the church. A burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
