Janice Ann Greene, age 70 of, Shelby , passed away on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia .
Janice a native of Shelby, was born on September 5th, 1953. Janice was the daughter of the late Naomi Wright. In addition to her mother, Janice was also preceded in death by her loving husband Ronnie Lee Greene, of 46 years. Janice was a lady who had a passion and deep love for cross-stitching. She belong to several cross-stitching groups here in Cleveland County. When Janice wasn't cross-stitching, you could find her outside gardening in her yard, or decorating her house for any holiday. She loved to celebrate every holiday from Valentine's Day to Christmas. During the years Janice also enjoyed traveling with her family and friends to the mountains, especially, Gatlinburg, Tennessee or Dollywood.
Left to cherish and remember this life of this loving lady is her brother, Michael Wright and his wife, Cindy; her father, James Wright; one niece, Kristi Wright-Sorrells and her wife, Christi; three great nieces, Oliva, Paige, and Hayden Spicer; special friends, Glen Walker and his wife Rachel, and Jimmy Walker and his wife, Bobbie.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 , at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm , at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home in Fallston.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 16th, 2024 at11:00 am at Polkville Baptist Church 4214 Polkville, North Carolina 28136.
