Jason Lee Norwood, 43, of 346 Kadesh Church Road, Lawndale, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at his residence.
Born December 16, 1969 in Mecklenburg County, he was a son of Pamela Black Norwood of Lawndale and the late Larry Dean Norwood. He was a bartender and bouncer for Copper Kettle in Maggie Valley.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sherry Lynn Barnes Norwood; son, Steven Thomas Jenkins of Rutherfordton; daughter, Stephanie Nicole Jenkins of Lawndale; two sisters, Donna Hayes of Cherryville and Marie Tovar of York; and nieces and nephews, Tyler Swick, Breanna Swick, Madison Hayes, Autumn Taylor, Jazmine Tovar, Ruben Tovar, Olivia Barnes and
Alex Barnes.
Visitation: 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Memorial Service: 4:00 PM, Monday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston
Burial: Private
