Jean Marie Dockray Pawelko, 91, of Lake Lure, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at her home. A native of Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Kooistra Dockray. She was a home maker.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Thomas Pawelko of the home; son, Michael Pawelko of Tega Cay, SC; daughter, Lynne Goodman of Hendersonville; grandsons Timothy Heran of Seattle, WA and Owen Pawelko of Averill Park, NY; granddaughters Charlene LeRoy of Erie, CO and Katie McDermott of Cary, NC; six great grandchildren; brother, James Dockray of NY.

Memorial services will be held 11AM Friday, August 24, 2018 at Fairfield Mountains Chapel with Rev. Everette Chapman officiating.
