Jean Weaver Humphries, age 80, passed away on September 16, 2020 at Testa Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Garland Humphries of Shelby, NC, a daughter, Wanda Bowen of Greenville, SC, two grandchildren, Shelby Austell (Richard) and Roger Bowen (Samantha) both of Greenville, SC, a great grandson, Mason Bowen, and two sisters, Betty Ledbetter and Linda Wacaster, both of Shelby, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on October 8, 1939, Jean was the daughter of the late Graham and Cuttie Bridges Weaver. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Van Humphries and her son in law, Van Bowen.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Cleveland Pines Nursing Home and also the staff of Cleveland County Hospice for the loving care they showed.

Funeral services will be held at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11:00am with a visitation held one hour prior. A burial will follow the funeral service at Cleveland Memorial Park.
