Jefferson Elementary Students Visit Hospice
Hospice Cleveland County recently received a surprise visit from Mattie McMurry’s First Grade Class at Jefferson Elementary School. Mrs. McMurry wanted to make sure her class participated in a special project this Holiday season and chose Hospice for her class to help. The class learned and rehearsed Christmas Songs they could come and sing and also made cards for all the patients. After caroling to all the patients and staff, they were treated to milk and cookies.
“Our staff works so hard to take care of all our patients and families. The Holidays can be a tough time so this was a special treat for us. The smiles on the faces of our patients were priceless!” said Pam Isaacs, Director of Marketing & Communications for Hospice. “Thank you to Mattie McMurry and her class for making the season bright!”
Hospice Cleveland County provides high quality skilled compassionate care and support for individuals with a life-limiting illness, their families, and the community, regardless of their ability to pay.
