Mr. Jeremy Ryan "Jer" Polk, 40, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Jeremy was born on July 14, 1980 in Mecklenburg County, a son of the late Steve Polk and Sherry Stilwell Polk. He was a graduate of Independence High School, Class of 1998 and a graduate of Lees-McRae College with a major in journalism. Jeremy was editor of the website for PWX wrestling and was creator and host of Carolina Corner Podcast.

Survivors include his fiance', Lisa Ware McIntyre; daughters, Makayla Nicole and Laney Autumn all of the home and three brothers, Mark Polk of Monroe; William Brian Polk (Jenae) of Gastonia and Travis Polk (Amber) of Belmont.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions masks and social distancing will be required.
