Jermaine Demetrius Gash
Mr. Jermaine Demetrius Gash, 41, of 608 Suttle St. in Shelby, NC departed this life on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.  He was born on October 15, 1971 in Cleveland County to Nancy Gash and Forest Epps.

Jermaine attended Shelby Senior High School and he studied business at Livingstone College.  He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and hanging out with his friends and relatives.

Jermaine was a loving father who loved his children dearly.  He was also a loving son, brother and soul mate as well as a dedicated friend who everyone could depend on in a time of need.  He was the life of any party and family gathering.  Jermaine never met any strangers.   He was looked up to as a big brother by his younger cousins and friends.  In addition, Jermaine will be remembered as a very giving, humble person with a good heart.

Jermaine was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Russell and Odessa Gash; paternal grandparents, Forest and Ernestine Epps and one uncle, Charles Gash.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Nancy Gash of Shelby and Forest Epps of CA; four sons, Jermaine Gash, Jr. of Shelby, Joshua Gash of CA, Teddrick Husky of Franklin NC and Zachary Gash of Shelby; two sisters, Dallas Gash and Angel Gash both of Shelby; special friend, Sherry Thompson of Shelby; two nieces, Kyasia London and Mya London; two nephews, Keddrick Degree and Shayle Gash; aunts, Ruby Gash of Shelby, Charlene Gash of Lawndale, NC, Gloria McClain (David) of Kings Mountain, NC Carolyn Wright, Ollie Merriweather, Christine Wright, Edna Wright and Pauline Wright all of Shelby and Debra Epps of FL; uncles Paul Gash (Ramona) of Kingstown, NC, Bruce Gash (Cassandra), James Gash, Donald Gash, Steve Gash, and Wray Wright all of Shelby, Ivan Epps of Asheville, NC and Darrell Epps of FL and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. M. Lamont Littlejohn officiating and Rev. Paul Christopher Gash delivering the eulogy.  Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:00 PM at the church Tuesday.  Condolences can be expressed online at www.enloes.net.  Enloe Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements
