Jerry A. "Moose" Campfield, age 79, of Tanners Grove Road, Forest City, NC, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Jerry was born November 2, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late L.B. Campfield and Helen Grant Campfield. He was a graduate of Tri-High School, class of 1958 and worked for Burlington Industries for many years. Jerry was a member of Harris First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Jane Harris Campfield.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Barry Alvin Campfield (Emily) of Forest City and Jerry Brannon Campfield of Rutherfordton; brother, Joe Dean Campfield of Chesnee; six grandchildren, Shelby Cooper (Austin), Tiffany Campfield, Gage Campfield, Brannon Campfield, Dylan Campfield, Paige Campfield; six great-grandchildren, Carter Jane Cooper, Oliver Cooper, Maddox Gage Campfield and Paislyn Mae Williams.
Mr. Campfield requested that no formal services be conducted.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
