Jerry Eli Harrison, age 82, of Shelby, NC passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Born in Rutherford County on May 13, 1914, he was the son of the late Dessie and Eli Harrison.

Jerry was a member of the U.S. Army transport unit in Germany in 1962. He retired from PPG Shelby. Jerry was an avid antique collector with dozens of unique clocks and owned several classic cars throughout his life. He had a love for the mountains and always knew just the right spot to take in the best views. His most admirable quality was his love and devotion to his wife, Connie Ruth Carpenter Harrison. Connie preceded him in death on August 17, 2023.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 5, 2023 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
